marcus evans takes great pride in organising one of our flagship events, the 5th Annual Vertical Cities. In recent years, urban planners and architects around the world have been developing ideas and creating different solutions to approach the challenge of high-density urbanisation, and the concept of Vertical City has become a very popular one.

Vertical Cities is seen as a viable solution for rapidly growing urbanisation, especially in congested cities where land is a major constraint, and the only way to build is upwards. It promises to provide an urban environment which would be self-sustainable. Although architects and urban planners argue that vertical living is more cost efficient and sustainable, it does involve greater energy and material costs. It is important to look at how high-density cities are created in the future and the impact they will have on the natural environment. This conference will highlight through practical case studies and interactive discussions the importance of integrating innovative design with the surrounding environment to remain competitive and at the same time sustainable. It will offer participants insights on state-of-the-art techniques that can be drawn upon from the vast experiences and technical expertise of our global speaker line-up.

Don’t miss this opportunity to meet the line-up of key trend setters and network with a very niche and targeted group of participants from across the world.
